Pat Kelsey is the new coach at Louisville and one of my favorite coaches to study when it comes to 5-Out offense. He spoke at our coaches clinic last year in NC and is one of the coolest coaches I have had the pleasure of meeting in person and I think very highly of him. My favorite part about studying his offensive system is his 5-Out break, which is what I am going to dive into in this breakdown.

One of the main pieces of the 5-Out break is the 2 side spacing or the side of the court with a player in the corner and a player filling on the wing - which I will call the “Stretch.”
