Draymond’s Home Run
A clear example here of Draymond’s IQ and recognizing the advantage the Warriors have with him on the floor. Wiggins contests a 3 here from Prince and Draymond gets inside position, when Wiggins contests this he is on the basket side in transition.
Draymond recognizes this so as soon as he grabs the board he throws a home run pass to Wiggins in transition who draws the foul.
Monk Communicates To Keegan
Late in the game against the Spurs the Kings were looking to seal the game with a basket. They run their typical Fox/Sabonis ballscreen action and the Spurs were putting two on the ball by trapping Fox. Monk recognizes this and communicates to Keegan he wants him to come in and set a flare screen since his man is the low help.
As Sabonis rolls, Murray sets the screen low on Monk’s man which allows him to drift to the corner and hit the corner 3.
