Hawks Quick Flare
The Hawks have been using a play that the Jazz ran a ton last year in their 5-Out offense, looking for quick flares in early offense with the trailing big screening for a wing. It looks like the hand signal is similar to Pistol, but likely called “Gun” or Trigger for what action to start triggering their offense.
As the ball is brought up the floor the trailing big sets a flare screen for the trailing guard or guard in the opposite slot.
