After a great game 4, the Nuggets came out and got Jamal Murray going and their team going by going at Harden and using lots of Horns looks. I love how they continued to vary their attacks and the start of the 4th quarter might be my favorite play sequence of the playoffs so far.
Quick Hitting Notes & Adjustments
-Nuggets went at Harden, expect more of that in Game 6.
-Murray attacking in ballscreen vs Zubac drop was great.
-Nuggets will look to counter the counter of Harden on Jokic & Zubac roaming.
-Horns looks for Nuggets were good, should have more Elbow/Horns touches with Harden’s man in game 6.
Nuggets vs Clippers Game 1 Breakdown
In this breakdown we are going to look at the awesome Game1 from the Nuggets vs Clippers round 1 series. We will look at the early success off the Harden/Zubac ballscreens, and how the Nuggets adjust with Jokic to keep him out of ballascreen defense. Then we will dive into the lethal Murray & Jokic 2-man action and how Jokic started to solve the Clippers “Switch & Scramble” defensive gameplan. Finishing up with the Clippers ballscreen adjustment and how the Nuggets countered and the end of game.
Nuggets vs Clippers Game 2 Breakdown
In this breakdown, we are going to dive into the last 6 minutes of the game and look at how the Clippers eventually won a ridiculously fun game 2. We are also going to look at how the Clippers got Kawhi going by hunting Murray & how the Nuggets tried to adjust.
Nuggets vs Clippers Game 3 Breakdown
After 2 great games to start the series, the Clippers handled the Nuggets in game 3 in which the Nuggets did not seem prepared for. Weird offensive strategy combined with lackluster defense and lazy switching, the Nuggets had some very bad moments in game 3. If you missed game 1 & 2 breakdowns, they are linked below!

The Nuggets won an instant classic in game 4 off a buzzer beating dunk from Aaron Gordon. This game was awesome with both teams making adjustments and intriguing moves that has me excited for game 5. If you missed game 1-3 breakdowns, they are linked below!
